Grupo Questro…Uniting Imagination With Reality

The formation of Grupo Questro was the result of the fusion of attitude and projects all dedicated to the development of tourism in Mexico . Its objective is the creation of communities that are 100% sustainable in the social world as well as the economic world, and which fully respect their surrounding environment.

Founded in 1986, Grupo Questro was initially operated as Grupo Cabo Real, focusing mainly on the Los Cabos region of Baja California Sur where it set in motion its first master-planned resort, Cabo Real. Cabo Real was developed on approximately 3,500 acres and is home to prestigious five-star hotels, an exclusive private residential community, and two of the best golf courses in the world, designed by Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones Jr., which every connoisseur of the game desires to play.

In 2000, Grupo Cabo Real continued its growth with the construction of its second master-planned resort project, Puerto Los Cabos. This unprecedented development includes a 500-plus slip marina, two signature golf courses, six hotel properties, and more than 1,000 private residential homesites where one can live amid the ambience and hospitality of Old Mexico.

This continued growth required the reframing of the initial organization into a new entity, Grupo Questro, a structure that today unites all projects and businesses under one great umbrella. This new organization integrates all business divisions, including operations, hotels, time-shares and construction.

At the end of 2003, Grupo Questro designed and initiated on what has been call the “Place to Live”, Club Campestre San Jose.

This project is focused on the local market of Los Cabos, encompasconstructionsing over 540 acres and including an 18-hole golf course by Nicklaus Design, a social club where the entire community can come together, and a beach club.
